While sitting at my desk in New York, selling mortgage-backed securities at Credit Suisse, I’d surf the internet dreaming of fishing the hallowed trout rivers of The Catskills. Then one day a little red cottage on the Neversink River popped up on my screen, and the rest is history. I battled Friday night traffic in summer, and lived the weekender routine for a few years before giving-in and becoming a full-timer.
Now I delight in finding like-minded folks who treasure peace and quiet, and value the powerful pleasures of country life, and look to find their dream spot here in Upstate New York.
There’s more going on up here than you might think, with new businesses, shops and events creating a stronger sense of community in many areas. And there is tremendous diversity, from the buzz of gentrified Woodstock, to the rolling agricultural hills west of the Catskill Mountains, and of course those famous fly fishing areas around Roscoe and Livingston Manor, to the skiing hubs of Hunter, Windham and Belleayre.
So my goal is to listen to your priorities and help you cut through all those listings to focus on just the ones that are worth your valuable time. I won’t just steer you toward my own listings or even my firm’s listings, but will work to find the house you’re looking for, with the knowledge to guide you about the market and the nuances of this special, spectacular area.

After spending most of my adult life viewing, buying, flipping, remodeling and selling a number of properties of my own, I realized that my passion for real estate would be best served helping others to find their dream property.
Whether you are looking to buy or sell your country property, it would be equally rewarding for me to offer my expertise and guide you in your real estate pursuits here in the Catskills.
While browsing for a second home around New Paltz several years back, a neighbor in our building in Brooklyn suggested my husband and I take a look at his place upstate in Sullivan County, in the Western Catskills. He invited us for a weekend, and we immediately fell in love.
We became devout weekenders for the first three years, tied to the city for our work lives, but excited to escape upstate any chance we got. Our weekends were spent discovering hidden treasures: a hiking trail that ends 500 feet above the Delaware River, where you can sit on a throne crafted out of bluestone slabs, and enjoy the most spectacular view. We found the private grass coves of Crystal Lake: a 35-acre swimming lake with lovely scenic trail encircling it (time it right, and the blueberry bushes are bursting!). We calmed ourselves by tubing or kayaking the peaceful waters of the Delaware, sighting the same pair of eagles that share our favorite stretch year after year.
After a decade, my list is quite long, and the area's beauty and diversity continue to surprise me.
In terms of my real estate wisdom: I worked in bustling Brooklyn with the Corcoran Group, and have a deep background in internet development. I promise a dedicated, thoughtful and thorough search, and expert guidance from contract to close. It would be my pleasure to show you around.
I feel very fortunate to have grown up in New Paltz, a scenic Hudson Valley town in the shadow of the Shawangunk ridge, home to both Minnewaska State Park and the Mohonk Preserve. The small town character, the natural beauty, and the endless options for outdoor activity made for an ideal environment. I moved to New York City after college to pursue a career in financial technology, but upstate’s allure never faded. In 2006, I began the search for a quiet weekend retreat, and ultimately ended up designing and building a modern house near Millbrook, NY. I quickly realized that I had a passion for both design and real estate, and spent the next decade buying, renovating, and selling homes throughout the region - including Ulster, Dutchess and Columbia counties. As a result, I have a deep understanding of the real estate market in each of these areas.
In 2017, I decided to make real estate a full-time endeavor, and my family and I moved from Brooklyn to Gardiner, NY. I’m very excited to be working with Country House Realty, and welcome the opportunity to assist with your search or sale.
